Mormonism Contradicts the Bible
Jesus warned us of the following
Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves
Mormonism: Teaches that God the Father has a physical body of flesh and bone, was once a man who progressed to godhood, and that humans can become gods (LDS “King Follett Discourse,” Doctrine and Covenants 130:22).
Bible: God is spirit, eternal, unchanging, and not a man (John 4:24; Numbers 23:19; Psalm 90:2; Malachi 3:6). Man can never become God (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6–8).
Mormonism: Jesus is the literal firstborn spirit child of God the Father and Heavenly Mother, and the spirit-brother of Lucifer.
Bible: Jesus is eternal God, not created, but the Creator Himself (John 1:1–3; Colossians 1:15–17; Hebrews 1:3, 8).
Mormonism: The Bible is considered corrupt and incomplete; additional scriptures (Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price) and living prophets are equal or superior in authority.
Bible: God’s Word is complete, unchanging, and sufficient (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Proverbs 30:5–6; Revelation 22:18–19).
Mormonism: Salvation is partly by grace but ultimately requires works, temple ordinances, baptism for the dead, and obedience to LDS laws and covenants (2 Nephi 25:23).
Bible: Salvation is by grace alone through faith in Christ alone, not by works (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5; Romans 3:28).
Mormonism: Teaches multiple levels of heaven (celestial, terrestrial, telestial), with only faithful temple Mormons achieving exaltation (godhood).
Bible: There are only two eternal destinies—eternal life with God or eternal separation in hell (Matthew 25:46; John 5:29; Hebrews 9:27).
Mormonism: Claims the true church was lost after the apostles (the Great Apostasy) and restored through Joseph Smith.
Bible: Jesus promised that His church would never be destroyed or lost (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 3:21).
Mormonism: Humans existed as spirit children of God before birth.
Bible: Human life begins at conception; we did not exist before (Psalm 139:13–16; Zechariah 12:1).
Galatians 1:6-9 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
Mormonism
is from the pit of hell as it presents a different God, a different
Jesus, a different gospel, and additional scriptures that contradict
the Bible.
