God rules over everything He created. Nothing happens by chance. He guides all things—big and small—according to His perfect wisdom, power, and love.
God usually carries out His plans through ordinary events:
People making decisions
Laws of nature
Daily
routines
These things are not random; God uses them to
accomplish His purposes.
Sometimes God works in uncommon or miraculous ways—doing what normal means cannot do. These are rare, but they display His power and glory.
God
keeps everything alive and functioning. The world stays in order
because God continually supports it.
Without His care, creation
would fall apart.
Nothing
happens outside God’s will—whether good events or difficult
ones.
He directs all things toward the good of His people and
the glory of His name.
Even
though God is in control of all things, He never causes sin or
evil.
People sin freely from their own hearts.
Yet God can
use even sinful actions to accomplish His good purposes—like He did
in Joseph’s story and in the crucifixion of Jesus.
God
watches over believers with particular love.
He guides,
protects, disciplines, and provides for them as a Father cares for
His children.
God’s
control does not remove our duty to obey, pray, work, and make wise
choices.
Our actions matter and are truly meaningful—but God
works through them to fulfill His plan.
Knowing that God is in control gives Christians:
Peace in trials
Patience in suffering
Gratitude in blessings
Confidence in prayer
Hope for the future
We can rest in the truth that a wise and loving God directs every detail of our lives.
